A brief description of the snow and ice removal program, policy, or practice:
Although salt is the primary deicing agent used on campus, a couple more environmentally-friendly deicers are used for certain areas of campus. A potassium chloride, calcium, magnesium combination is used near doorways and on various walkways, and a urea product is used in parking structure.
