Does the institution have an on-campus garden where students are able to gain organic farming and/or gardening experience?:
Yes

A brief description of the garden:

In April 2012, the Office of Sustainability, Campus Kitchens at Marquette, Students for an Environmentally Active Campus (SEAC), and the College of Health Sciences coordinated the construction of eleven raised bed gardens. Campus Kitchens will use the food grown in four beds in meals they prepare and distribute to local food shelters and hospitals. The College of Health Sciences will incorporate four beds into their summer curriculum. SEAC will use two beds to determine student interest in personal gardening. This first phase is meant to act as a pilot program to gauge campus interest in gardening.
