The Diversity Committee has different speaker series and focuses on various cultures each month. Students are invited to participate in these events to learn about different cultures and ethnicities.

Recently students and student organizations worked together to clean up Madisonville Community College's walking trail focusing on the Leave No Trace principles.

The Multi Cultural Association sponsors various events. There is a program called Voices that focuses on the African American Culture during Black History Month. The organization also hosts an international potluck where students and employees are encouraged to bring in foods from various cultures providing an international experience.

Tenth day tour involves the sustainability committee collecting paper from all students and faculty on the various campuses for recycling. Teachers are allowed to thow away any old tests, papers ten days into the new semester from a previous semester and this helps promote recycling and also is a service to instructors with several papers that need to clear out space. Madisonville Community College also has started an annual Earth day event promoting leaving a better planet for our children and the event has various vendors that set up booths promoting sustainability and other events that occur within the community.
