A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation (including how multiple dimensions of sustainability are addressed):
The Office of Sustainability (OS) is a featured booth at New Student Orientation (NSO), whereat staff share resources and tips for living sustainably while on campus. Student Affairs collaborates with the OS to identify waste reduction and energy conservation measures. In the 2017/18 year, each new student received a Cupanion tag to support reuse of beverage containers while on campus. The OS features programs and initaitives that address the dimensions of sustainability (postcards with info). Through dialogue, staff share information about the four dimensions of sustainability and how they are embedded into the institutions activities.
