An Idle Free campaign was implemented across City Centre Campus. Drop-off zones were identified and signage implemented to instruct drivers that idling for "one minute or less is best."

A brief description of the methodology(ies) the institution used to complete its air emissions inventory:

Methodology: We reviewed the list of potential stationary sources and identified those applicable to MacEwan University. An external contractor was hired to evaluate the weight of emissions for each sources identified:
- boilers, emergency generators, and other combustion sources
- CFAC paint booths
- petroleum storage tanks (diesel generators + grounds equipment)
- CFAC art studios
- chillers and HVAC equipment
- one swimming pool disinfected with chlorine gas
- one print shop
