A brief description of the textbook exchange program, textbook lending library, or alternate textbook project:
The Textbook Reserve Program is run by the Academic Affairs Committee of Macalester College's Student Government (MCSG) with an annual allocation of $10,000. They work with the college's library to purchase textbooks which students can check out for free. The selection focuses on expensive books and ones that are frequently relied upon. Students are also encouraged to request additions to the reserve.

Yes

A brief description of the incentives to encourage the authorship, peer review, and/or adoption of open access textbooks:
There is a small pool of funds available to faculty who wish to assist with open access journal author fees or for those who work to start a new Open Educational Resources project.
