A brief description of the companies, funds, and/or institutions referenced above:
Macalester College holds assets within Cleantech Venture Funds and in a sustainable timber fund. The CDFI Macalester invests in is the University Bank, a bank that invests in businesses and communities surrounding the University Avenue corridor in the Twin Cities. Finally, Macalester students started the Clean Energy Revolving Fund (CERF),in place from 2007-2009. CERF invested in energy efficiency projects at the college.
