Luther College has a Risk Management and Safety Committee that meets every other month. This committee is chaired by our Director of Budgeting and Internal Controls, draws representatives from all across campus, and is tasked with promoting safe work practices, protecting health, minimizing safety risks, and reducing any negative effects to the environment. We encourage employees to report every accident, however small, and to report any safety risks that they see.

Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
The college changed the way it reported FTE starting in 2008, which is why the 2007 baseline number is high compared to the reporting year number. We would score higher in this category if these FTE numbers had been calculated the same way.
