Documentation supporting the institution’s reported pay scale ratio:
This calculation was done using the salary of the highest paid exempt employee and the lowest-paid non-exempt (40 hour/week) employee. Every full-time Luther College employee (.75 FTE and up) qualifies for all benefits. The calculation that resulted in 1:10 ratio includes 2016-17 base pay, overtime, salary supplement, retirement, and assumes that both employees enroll in our standard single health insurance. If we were to assume that both employees were to enroll in standard family health insurance, the pay scale ratio would fall to 1:8.
