Yes

On January 7th, the Iowa Utilities Board (IUB) announced that it would be accepting comments from the public on virtually all aspects of distributed generation (DG) in Iowa. In February 2014 a letter was submitted as part of a public comment period to address the importance of distributed generation for utilities in Iowa. This public comment period has the potential to dramatically impact the future of energy legislation in Iowa.

A Luther religion professor/coordinator of energy and climate programming lobbies at the state level related to wind energy policy to make sure that laws benefit non-profits and schools, not just corporations.
