Loyola has had a formal partnership with Nicholas Senn High School in the Edgewater community since 2012. Together, Loyola and Senn work to strengthen teaching, increase college access, and generate opportunities for civic engagement. Additional the Senn David Prasse Scholarship Program, offered in partnership with Senn High School, guides selected students to service opportunities in their communities. There are other ad hoc opportunities to collaborate with Senn High School, including donating high-quality school supplies collected through our annual Think Green & Give move-out donation program.

Proviso Partners for Health:
Proviso Partners for Health is a program supported by a large coalition of partners and funders in the Proviso Township, which includes Loyola's Health Sciences Campus in Maywood. The work of the partnership includes food justice, economic justice, and policy and systems change. The food justice initiative in particular supports a sustainable, local food system that lifts up food businesses and farmers and supports the Veggie RX program.

Peterson Garden Project leases land from Loyola for a community-allotment garden. This nonprofit managed site hosts 180 gardeners each year and donates produce from community plots to a local food bank.
