Loyola has used its institutional voice to advocate for issues related to our primary role of educators.
Regarding sustainability, this has extended to student access and affordability as well as support for climate and sustainability research funding or policy support.

Yes

The University has supported students in participating in local and state level political action including lobbying days and participation in demonstrations.

The University has signed onto various letters in support of sustainability-related actions and legislation and engaged our legislators locally as well as in Washington DC on these topics.

Loyola has supported students participating in international policy discussions including participation in United Nations Conference of the Parties on topics including Climate Change and Biodiversity Conservation.
