Sustainability office on behalf of university contributes to sustainability at local level by working on policy and legislation to reduce single use plastics in community. Such as currently working on single use plastics bans such as straws in local communities. Spoke to gov officials etc.

Contribute to support local politicians for friendly roads and transit options for bicycles.

work with recycle la to support recycling system improvements in la.

Signed support for California energy savings to support statewide programs to reduce energy use through energy upgrade california and will attend gov climate summit for solutions.
