Loyalist students living in residence formed a Sustainability Committee to develop ideas and implement activities that help students living in res reduce their environmental footprint. The group meets regularly and has Loyalist staff support.
Journalists for Human Rights (JHR) provides students with opportunities to use media to increase hunan rights and social justice awareness within the College, throughout the city, and around the world.

Enactus is an international non-profit organization dedicated to enabling progress through entrepreneurial action. Enactus Loyalist College was established in 2009 and has grown to encompass 50+ students from a wide breadth of academic programs. Their projects address community needs from Napanee to Quinte West, and from the Prince Edward Country across Hastings County.
For instance, one project underway is F.A.R.M. (Full-circle Agricultural Recycling Management), a collaborative community-based business solution that is working with local farmers to help address the challenges they face with the disposal of used bale wrap, a material that is currently non-recyclable. The goal of this program is to design and implement a waste management program to successfully recycle the material.

All of the events run in Loyalist's co-curricular outdoors program (canoeing, hiking, spelunking, etc.) follow the seven Leave No Trace principles – these principles are explained in detail when meeting as a group with student participants prior to trip dates and then demonstrated throughout the events themselves.
