Evangeline Hall at LSU provides a mock "green" room. Adorned with messages promoting sustainable ideas and items such as remote-controlled surge protectors, BPA-free water bottles and decorative origami, the room is equipped to show different ways students living in residential halls can make their living space more efficient. During visits to the room, students can suggest other ideas for sustainable practices and talk with others about what they do in their own rooms to conserve utilities.
