A brief description of the student-managed SRI fund:
The $1.4 million Tiger Fund is made up of selected companies from the Russell Top 200 index. The student managers research and analyze companies in the nine different sectors and invest in approximately 60 of the 200 companies in the benchmark.
Althought its not the purpose, it is possible to pick some investments in the areas of social responsibility. For example, the fund includes General Electric, which does invest in clean renewable energy (wind power).
