A brief description of the program:

The Louisiana Procurement Code, Revised Statutes 39:1595-1595.6, does have preferences for all type of products produced, manufactured, assembled, grown, or harvested in Louisiana. Preference is given to Louisiana vendors for items including, but not limited to, seafood, produce, meat, eggs, paper and paper products, steel, and all agricultural or forestry products provided that certain restrictions are met.

Vendors are required to claim a local preference on qualify commodities by completed the attached note included in applicable solicitations. (A preference, if applicable, may be allowed for products produced, manufactured, assembled, grown or harvested in Louisiana. Do you claim this preference? Yes _____ No _____.
