LSU students propose that a campus wide composting program be initiated to collect and compost available organic waste streams from the LSU campus and be transported to the LSU-AgCenter – W.A. Callegari Environmental Center, where land and equipment are available. In Spring 2012, phase I of the compost program was implemented including waste from animal beddings from the LSU Vet School.
