A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the inventory:
This inventory was completed in phases. Each phases resulted in more complete data.
First, at a Chancellor's meeting, the Provost asked each Dean to survey their respective colleges for sutainability related/focused courses.
Second, LSU's Sustainability Curriculum in Education Committee (SCURRE) took the lead on gathering data for this inventory. The University's Vice Provost co-signed a letter that was sent to all deans. This letter stated the definition of sustainability related and focused, then asked for listings to be submitted to SCURRE.
Third, members of the SCURRE identified key faculty within their own colleges and requested this information.
Data is categorized by College and Department, so it could be sorted for other credits. The inventory indicates whether courses are offered in the fall or spring and whether they are sustainability focused or related.
