A brief description of the sustainability trainings and professional development opportunities available to staff :
The Office of Campus Life makes available training in sustainability to all students, faculty, and staff at LIU Post at least once per year. The seminar-style event entitled "What Does It Mean To Be Green?" provides training on all areas of campus sustainability at LIU Post and encourages all those who attend to get involved in some capacity. In future years, the Office of Campus Life at LIU Post hopes to expand this training into a series of sustainability workshops.
