Lewis has a sustainability council where students, staff and faculty represent the body of the committee. Also, The Manager of Sustainability is part of the SMHEC committee where it consists of a multitude of institutions within the area. These committee promote community involvement and try to advance sustainability in all aspects. SMHEC has developed a sub-committee for our students to participate.

A brief description of the mentoring relationship and activities:

All Institutions under SMHEC assist each other with their programs and provide insight to one another. When a new development arising for a university Lewis University will provide insight if we have already implemented a similar program at our university.

Yes, through the various sustainability committee groups that Lewis is part of we are continuously sharing resources and planning on a bi-weekly basis - Student Life and ResLife
