They are developed during orientation sessions to gage student's awareness of sustainability initiatives.

1) What types of sustainability initiatives do you know are happening at Lewis University. 2) What are ways in which you can get involved in sustainability initiatives on campus. 3) What interests you the most in regards to sustainability? 4) Do you currently display behaviors that result in a more sustainable life? 5) In which ways have you been involved in helping your local community? 6) Can you think of ways sustainability projects could be funded?

Based on what their major, year and where they live.
A brief summary of results from the cultural assessment:
Individuals who were environmental science majors had more sustainability values, but ones that were not environmental majors realized that more sustainability values then they originally thought. Over time depending on the inflow of new environmental science students we hope to see a trend. In the future I want to send out a survey to the whole campus and resident halls to gage their knowledge and views on recylcing.
