1st campaign
A brief description of the campaign:
Every year we have our pumpkin pitch event that invites the Lewis community as well as residents of Will County to participate in a pumpkin pitch event where we rent dumpsters and compost pumpkins. Various student groups as well as faculty gets engaged through creative thinking and co-sponsoring events.
A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign:
We had over 100 people attend the event and composted over 2,000 pounds of pumpkins. Not only was it educational, but we reduced the amount of waste going to the landfill.

A brief description of the campaign (2nd campaign):
Lewis U participated in the Campus Race to Zero Waste to educate our residents on how how to reduce, reuse, and recycle. The winning dorm won a pizza party.
A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign (2nd campaign):
The results were posted weekly keeping students engaged. The RAs sent pictures of the recyling containers weekly. At the end, the students celebrated with a pizza party.
