The marketing team at Lewis University does a great job of capturing sustainability events on campus. Each event is captured through our social media outlets and when decided it is published through a newsletter. We also produce a newsletter each semester highlighting sustainability initiatives on campus.
Signage
A brief description of the signage that highlights sustainability features on campus:
In our LEED certified buildings there is signage in the main lobby areas indicating our certification and highlighting some of our green building features. Additionally, we have outdoor signage that also highlights the various sustainability features on campus.
Sustainability map or tour
A brief description of the sustainability walking map or tour:
Yes, there is a sustainability walking map that can be produced for students who are interested to learn where all the sustainability features are on campus.We also have a Burnham Centennial Nature Trail map and a Tree Campus USA map.
Green living guide
A brief description of the guide for green living and/or incorporating sustainability into the residential experience:
Yes, we have recycling signage posted through resident halls and academic buildings. Additionally, we have signs produce to reduce energy and water usage.
