The total number of courses that are offered is taken from the course catalog and the biology chair who is heavily involved in most of all sustainability related courses provided the total number of courses offered that involve aspects of sustainability. An email was sent to the chairs of all departments. Taken into consideration are the 5 Pillars of Sustainability -people, prosperity, planet, peace, and partnership.

Environmental Science BA
Most commonly taken as part of a double major or along with multiple minors, the Environmental Science, B.A. is designed for students who plan on working with non-profits, or plan to study Environmental Law. This degree does not require coursework in Biometry, Organic Chemistry or Calculus.
