Divestment from Fossil Fuels

A brief description of the campaign:

In 2018, the Lewis & Clark College Board of Trustees voted to divest from all fossil fuel holdings in the endowment by 2023. Lewis & Clark is one of about 30 colleges and universities nationwide to make this commitment, according to the international environmental group 350.org. Lewis & Clark divestment process is ongoing, with full divested from fossil fuels by 2030.

Transportation & Parking program improvements

A brief description of the campaign (2nd campaign):

Over the last two years, the institution has launched several T&P related projects to reduce our transportation related impacts. This has included increasing the subsidy for public transit, launching a WAZE carpool program and instituting a bike share.

Transit sales have increased by more than 10% and bike awareness and interest has increased among students and staff.
