There are many kinds of safety programs that are either OSHA or EPA driven and safety is monitored on campus in many different ways. Many programs and trainings for these safety programs are offered. Audits are done often to make sure all aspects of safety are being adhered to.

The actual annual number of recordable incidents of work-related injury or ill health was significantly lower than a typical year due to COVID-19 and Lehigh transitioning to remote. Because of this, data from FY 19 was used to be representative of a normal year.
