Electricity from on-site, clean and renewable sources (rights retained/retired) | 5,000 Kilowatt-hours | 17.06 MMBtu |
A brief description of the certified/verified sources of clean and renewable electricity:
Lehigh began buying bundled Green-E certified RECs through a virtual power purchase agreement with an off-site developer/project on February 20, 2020. The value shown above represents the RECs retired on Lehigh's behalf from July 1, 2020 through June 30,2021
A brief description of the on-site renewable electricity generating facilities/devices:
There are five solar photovoltaic panel installations on campus. Four installations serve remote and off-grid activities and are not directly metered whereas the largest installation at the Goodman Campus Community Garden is grid-connected and metered. The figure reported above includes only the metered usage from the largest installation.
