Inventory of the institution’s sustainability research:
The College of Arts and Sciences, and several departments in the College of Engineering, opted to re-submit FY19 data. All other data is FY20.

A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:
Surveying the deans to identify departments and professors engaged in sustainability research.

The types of faculty included were all tenure track faculty and professors of practice.

Note that number of departments in the AC-1 section (31) and PRE-5 (32) differs from this section (34) due to some courses belonging to "interdepartmental programs", rather than a specific department, whereas in AC-9, faculty belong to specific departments.

In this credit we list 28 employees engaged in sustainability research. This was the number of names and research focus descriptions we were able to gather due to COVID-19 complications. However, the actual estimated number of employees engaged in sustainability research is 116. In future submissions not impacted by COVID-19, the specificity of our data will be greatly improved and the number of employees engaged in sustainability research listed in this credit will be more representative of the true nature of research at Lehigh.
