The Libraries are educating Faculty about the research publication process by offering advice on copyright contracts with publishers and encouraging the review of the Faculty's copyright contracts. This year Carrie Baldwin-SoRelle offered a panel discussion of faculty discussing their scholarly publications and placing their publications in scientific archives and other online archives as well as the Lehigh preserve, the Lehigh institutional repository.
The Libraries are trying to encourage more Faculty to deposit their research in the Lehigh preserve to archive their work and provide global access to their work. The Libraries are digitizing more Lehigh resources- conference papers, working papers and other Lehigh publications.
