A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:
Lehigh participated in the Workplace Dynamics survey last fiscal year. This survey is administered by a third party. In Lehigh's first year of participation, we had a very good response rate of 64% (national average is 56%). This survey is available every year.

A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation (including examples from the previous three years):
Lehigh purchased the detailed report which measures Three categories a) Engagement, b) Organizational Health (Satisfaction), and c) Basics (Hygienic factors such as training, pay, benefits, etc.), and break the results down by stem and large department. I have reviewed in-person and given a copy of the stem report to every senior administrator, including overall reports to the president and provost.
