A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation (including how multiple dimensions of sustainability are addressed):
Every quarter, Human Resources offers an orientation for all new Lehigh employees. A time slot is allotted for Office of Sustainability to present on the following topics: Lehigh's sustainability vision (including all three aspects of sustainability, supporting documents (Campus Sustainability Plan 2020), mission of Office of Sustainability, and 5 actions new employees can commit to in support of Lehigh's commitment to integrating sustainability into the fabric of the university (participate in mini-bin trash program, connect with social media for updates, learn about recycling streams. join Sustainable Office Program, and adjust printing settings). These environmentally leaning actions are presented because other speakers cover diversity, inclusion and equity.
