A brief description of the green building rating system(s) used and/or a list or sample of certified buildings and ratings:

LVC has one building in operation (Mund) that is LEED certified and has recently completed construction on a second building that is presently in the process of receiving LEED Silver certification. All building energy use data is submitted for review and benchmark comparison to peer institutions via Sightlines www.sightlines.com. We also benchmark our energy use per square foot to the latest Commercial Buildings Energy Consumption Survey (CBECS) data. These are the same benchmarks incorporated into the ENERGY STAR rating system through the DOE. LVC has consistently operated its buildings more efficiently than our peer institutions and below the CBECS average for higher ed institutions.
