LVC has implemented a formal e-recycling program specifically targeting lighting materials that contain mercury. In the past year, we have sent (I'll provide some specific quantities) for documented recycling. We also recycle electronic lighting ballasts to harvest the significant sources of raw materials they contain.

On at least a quarterly basis, the College collects and recycles electronic equipment via an e-recycling vendor. In addition to the College's waste, students and employees are also invited to drop off their electronic waste for recycling.
