Lawrence has a sustainability strategic plan for operations (2019-2025) with goals in the following areas:
Reduce total campus energy consumption by 15% of 2013-17 average
Increase waste diversion rate from 34% to 50%
Reduce campus-wide water usage by 10% of 2013-17 average
Develop a landscape management program, which reduces invasive species, exogenous chemicals and water use.
Operate and maintain campus buildings in accordance with published university sustainable operations and maintenance guidelines.

In 2018-19 Lawrence engaged in a process of drafting a sustainability plan for operations. In 2019-20 we will engage in the process of drafting a sustainability plan for curriculum, co-curriculum, community engagement, communications.
