Which of the following best describes the institution’s approach to rainwater management?:
No written policies, plans or guidelines, but green infrastructure and LID practices are used
A brief description of the institution’s green infrastructure and LID practices:
We have developed natural runoff management systems for new development on campus. The new Warch Campus Center, for example, has a layered stormwater runoff pond that discharges into the Fox River as well as a "green roof" of hardy, drought-resistant plants. New and updated parking areas discharge into a grass swale rather than directly to storm sewer. We are also working to reduce impervious surface area overall by removing some sidewalks and driveways.
A copy of the institution’s rainwater management policy, plan, and/or guidelines:

A brief description of the institution’s rainwater management policy, plan, and/or guidelines that supports the responses above:
We are required to follow city and state guidelines for stormwater management. We do not have a written policy or plan, but take opportunities to improve where we can.
