Yes

A brief description of the bicycle sharing program:
A free bicycle loan program is available to all Lawrence University students, faculty, and staff. Ten Trek bicycles are available for checkout at the Warch Campus Center from April through October. Riders must sign a waiver form and leave their LU ID with Information Desk staff. Lock and helmet are provided.

A brief description of the car sharing program:
Lawrence partners with Enterprise Rent-a-Car to provide access to rentals vehicle for an hour, a day, overnight, or a weekend. The vehicles are parked on Boldt Plaza near the Warch Campus Center for easy access. The vehicles can be reserved online and the keys can be picked up at the Information Desk.

Lawrence does not have a formal program to encourage employees to live close to campus. Given Lawrence's close proximity to downtown Appleton, and the popular Historic City Park Neighborhood and renovated mill apartment building, many employees do live within walking distance to campus.

Yes

A brief description of other programs or initiatives to encourage more sustainable modes of transportation and/or reduce the impact of student and employee commuting:
Lawrence provides a shuttle from the main campus to the athletic complex that is not adjacent to the campus proper. This shuttle runs Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Weekend hours vary based on varsity program schedules.
The Office of Campus Life provides a local shopping shuttle that runs a regular route to the local mall, select grocery stores, and movie theaters. The schedule of this shuttle is determined term to term based on the availability of student drivers. Lawrence also provides a service shuttle, which is a shuttle that operates on an as-needed basis to transport students to volunteer organizations in the Fox Valley.
