Compensation studies are completed periodically using local market as well as peer data to determine compensation standards for all faculty and staff. The living wage for Outagamie county, WI is $9.93/hr according to the MIT living wage calculator. Our lowest paid employees start at $11/hr so 100% of our regular employees exceed the living wage.

Local market benchmarking by comparable position, including market research into similar custodial and administrative positions in the Fox Valley to compare salary and compensation packages. It is the policy of the university to maintain a comprehensive salary administration program as a vehicle to provide an equitable compensation program.
Custodial and Safety employees are typically the lowest paid regular part-time staff. Regular employees in these areas have a starting salary of $11/hour.
