A brief summary of papers, guides, presentations, and other resources the institution has developed to share their sustainability experience with other institutions:

Representatives from Lawrence regularly attend sustainability conferences with students, faculty and staff from peer institutions. In 2011-2012, for example, a group from Lawrence attended and presented two projects at the Upper Midwest Association for Campus Sustainability (UMACS) conference, attended the AASHE annual conference, and organized and hosted the Students in Sustainable Agriculture (SISA) conference. Winter of 2016, students participated in the Midwest Organic and Sustainable Education Service (MOSES) conference held at La Crosse WI. In 2016, several faculty members of the PCDA (Presidents Committee on Diversity Affairs) attended an ACM (American Colleges of the Midwest) workshop on Hiring and Diversity in order to learn about best practices in recruitment, hiring, and retention.

We partner with other universities in the Association Colleges of the Midwest (ACM) consortium on a broad range of issues, including sustainability.

Additionally, in 2010, we signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Guizhou Normal University in Guiyang, China as part of a program called Sustainable China. This collaboration has involved multiple study trips by LU delegations to Guizhou Province.
