The Provost's office manages the Curricular Development Grant, which faculty can apply for to develop courses outside their area of expertise. Although this grant is not limited to sustainability-related courses, it has often been used for them. In 2011, for example, a Curricular Development Grant was awarded to Jason Brozek (Government), Bill Hixon (Government) and David Gerard (Economics) for the creation of ENST 151: Intro to Environmental Policy.
