A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:
While there is no formal competence training, there is a variety of programs offered including a “Diversify Your Mind” series of programs sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs. This series includes speakers, theatrical programs, music from around the world, discussions on cultural topics, and social activities to expose all students to a broad spectrum of cultural differences and a world outside their own.
