A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:

Lawrence’s residential program supports a friendly hall energy competition. The competition is held between two halls of comparable construction, age of the hall (early 60’s), and student population (170’s). Bragging rights go to the hall who can conserve the greatest amount of energy. This year these halls will show live output on digital displays in their lobbies in order to keep students informed and aware of their efforts. Students in the two halls are able to monitor live status of their energy use.
