A brief description of the event(s):
Earth Week involves a variety of speakers and other student programming; the Spoerl Lecture Series is an endowed lecture series which is generally scheduled to coincide with the annual Environmental Studies symposium; the Students in Sustainable Agriculture conference is a series of speakers and workshops for student gardeners from across the country. Additionally, many student organizations bring in speakers, show films, and organize discussions around sustainable ideas and practices. Special programs such as the Extreme Ice Survey is an example of a campus program.
