This credit was marked as Not Pursuing so Reporting Fields will not be displayed.

Langara is an urban campus, and therefore benefits from excellent access to transit and bicycle networks. However, the circulated Transportation Survey did not use the term "primary mode of transportation" in its question regarding mode, as the College was interested in gathering data on the amount of non-car travel that occurred to and from campus. As such, the commute mode split survey question was worded as "Do you ever travel without a car (i.e., use transit, bike, or walk) to Langara?".

- 90% of student respondents answered yes to this question
- 74% of employee respondents answered yes to this question.

We understand the way this question was worded may have led to elevated percentages in sustainable mode, and future Annual Transportation Surveys will include questions regarding primary mode of transportation to better align with STARS reporting requirements. For this reason, we are marking this credit as Not Pursuing for this submission.
