Several courses in the Program are approved for Continuing Education by the Architectural Institute of BC. The program provides a strong practical foundation in energy management, combined with practical knowledge of the operating aspects of commercial, residential, and industrial buildings. The energy courses examine the principles and techniques of energy management planning, identifying energy consumption, monitoring, energy management information systems, re-commissioning buildings, and energy financing of projects. The other courses provide students with knowledge and skills in building construction, building operations, and business communications.
2) The Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion Leadership is a one-year post-degree program. Students gain effective leadership communication skills, an increased understanding of workplace diversity and inclusion, and an appreciation for the significance of socially constructed identities.
