Lane Community College has five institution level Core Learning Outcomes (CLO's). One of this CLO's is Engage diverse values with civic and ethical awareness. Students build and reinforce awareness of the value and impact of both their personal perspectives and those of others in diverse local and global communities. Possible dimensions of this CLO include: - Recognize and clarify personal values and perspectives - Evaluate diverse values and perspectives of others - Describe the impact of diverse values and perspectives on individuals, communities, and the world - Demonstrate knowledge of democratic values and practices - Collaborate with others to achieve shared goals

A brief description of how the figure above was determined:

  1. In academic year 2022 Lane Community College awarded 2,038 total awards from various degree programs to 1,264 students. All LCC programs meet the Core Learning Outcomes, hence meeting sustainability outcomes as stated above. 

  2. During the same academic year, 120 students graduated from programs that required the successful completion of a sustainability-focused course as identified in the Academic Courses credit.
