Lane's social media platform spans from LCC's website, to facebook, twitter, instagram and linkedin. The facebook account acts as a newsletter to college staff, students and the community announcing various projects such as carbonfree challenge, sustainability films and recycling roundups.

Lane Community College has signage highlighting sustainability features on the main campus and satellite campuses. Some of the signage include:
- Signage in the existing solar electric vehicle charging station
- Signage describing the type of food growing on campus for student use
- Signage describing the sustainability features in all of the four LCC's LEED buildings
- Educational signage for recycling and waste management
