A brief description of the employee wellness program, policy, or practice:
The Sports, Wellness and Recreation designs programs such as a Six Week Weight Loss and Fitness Program. A campus counselor is available mainly for students, but employees can use services as well. Likewise, one in house physician is available (five days a week and over weekends as well as during exams) along with EMS – Emergency Medical Services – a student led initiative for providing round the clock emergency primary medical services and if needed, evacuation to hospitals. Awareness programs are also in place for community concerns such as Dengue fever (a viral infection, spread by the bite of the female Aedes Aegypti mosquito, that can be fatal).
