The initiative - "National Outreach Programme" was launched in 2001, with the objective of providing educational opportunities to bright and talented students from smaller cities, villages and inner city areas of large urban centres, who are unable to meet the programme's regular fee requirement.

None. Informal support is available from the HR department, staff and other faculty members.


A brief description of the programs sponsored by the institution to support underrepresented groups within the staff:

Informal support is available from the HR department, staff and other faculty members. Students frequently tutor members of the support staff (janitors and office attendants) to improve English skills, etc. Students, faculty, and administration also looked into a recent fair wage issue regarding the janitorial staff to ensure fair wages were allocated to them through the organization with whom the university contracts their work.
