A brief description of the postconsumer food waste composting program:
All food is proccessed. 50% is eligible for reuse. Some is left as food for wildlife on campus; the rest (bread only) is sold for recycling to be used for cow and buffalo feed. Other than bread, nothing is recycled. All other edible leftovers (not significant amount) are buried in a landfill.
